Description
Ready to swap screens for some serious green? Join our Excursion Quest to Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center, where the trees are taller than your to-do list and the wildlife is more interesting than your pet goldfish. This outdoor adventure will take you through a 300-acre wonderland filled with winding trails, native plants, and the occasional wild critter—don’t worry, we’ll leave the wrestling of squirrels to the professionals.
Our quest kicks off with a peaceful hike through the arboretum, where you’ll marvel at the towering trees and probably wonder why your houseplant can’t grow like this. Along the way, we’ll encounter all sorts of native wildlife—maybe even some animals who have no idea how famous they are for living here. Keep your eyes peeled for red wolves (the furry stars of the show) and don’t be surprised if you learn a thing or two about conservation.
After working up an appetite on the trails, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature’s finest dining scenery (sorry, no reservations needed). Once we’ve refueled, we’ll continue exploring the center’s educational exhibits, where you’ll discover how plants and animals work together to create the perfect balance of nature—and maybe learn how to keep your houseplants alive a little longer.
Parents, you won’t miss a thing! We’ll keep you updated with the best moments from our day of nature-filled fun and fresh air. Expect plenty of photos of happy kids and possibly one or two selfies with a really cool tree.
