Description
Discover Nature and Wildlife at Audubon Acres with the Chattanooga Audubon Society!
Join us for a nature-filled Excursion Quest to Audubon Acres, the crown jewel of the Chattanooga Audubon Society! Located in the heart of East Brainerd, this beautiful 130-acre wildlife sanctuary is home to diverse ecosystems, including forests, meadows, and streams. Your child will explore miles of scenic trails, observe native wildlife, and learn about the importance of conservation and preserving natural habitats.
During this quest, your child will engage in an educational experience led by naturalists and park guides, where they’ll discover the significance of protecting local wildlife, native plants, and their habitats. They’ll also have the opportunity to connect with nature through interactive, hands-on activities like birdwatching, studying local flora, and understanding the history of the land once inhabited by Native Americans.
Choose from several ticket options:
- Quest Holder Tickets: For children enrolled in our questlines, this ticket includes a guided nature tour with the Audubon Society’s naturalists, exploring the wildlife and ecosystems of Audubon Acres.
- Grown-Up/Chaperone Tickets: Parents can experience the wonders of Audubon Acres too! Choose a Grown-Up Ticket to accompany your child or opt for a Chaperone Ticket (limited to 4 per trip) to help guide the group through the sanctuary’s trails and educational experiences.
- Tag-Along Tickets: For younger children under 8, the Tag-Along Ticket allows them to join the outdoor exploration with a responsible adult. Paired with a Grown-Up Ticket, younger children can safely enjoy nature while learning about wildlife conservation.
From wildlife observation to hands-on learning activities, the Excursion Quest to Audubon Acres offers an enriching experience for children, teaching them the value of conservation and the beauty of Tennessee’s natural environments.
