Ready to get your feet wet without actually, you know, getting wet? Join our Excursion Quest to the Tennessee Aquarium, where you’ll meet some of the ocean’s finest (and a few freshwater stars too). From creatures that swim, slither, and sometimes just float around like they own the place, this quest is your ticket to an underwater world of fun!
First stop? River Journey! Here, you’ll rub elbows (okay, not literally) with river otters, sturgeon, and some very toothy alligators (don’t worry, they’re all smiles). Once you’ve survived the reptiles and otter antics, it’s lunchtime! Enjoy your packed lunch at the aquarium’s beautiful outdoor terrace—because nothing pairs better with a sandwich than the soothing sounds of aquarium waterfalls.
Then it’s time to dive into Ocean Journey! Prepare to meet jellyfish who look like they’re straight out of a sci-fi movie, rays who glide around like aquatic superheroes, and sharks who, let’s face it, are the coolest fish in town. Plus, you’ll get hands-on with touch tanks and see some behind-the-scenes magic of how the aquarium keeps all these critters happy.
By the end of the day, you’ll be full of ocean facts, new aquatic friends, and probably a few pictures of penguins showing off. Parents, don’t worry—we’ll send updates throughout the day, so you know exactly when your little marine biologists are having their minds blown.

- Quest Holder Tickets: For kids who are all about adventure, this ticket gets you access to everything: aquarium exhibits, interactive experiences, and maybe a selfie with a sea turtle if you’re lucky.
- Grown-Up/Chaperone Tickets: For parents and guardians who want to join the fun, grab a Grown-Up Ticket or a Chaperone Ticket (limited to 4 per trip) if you’re feeling brave enough to help herd the crew!
- Tag-Along Tickets: Got a younger adventurer? No worries! This ticket lets little ones under 8 enjoy all the aquatic excitement while sticking close to a responsible grown-up. Must be paired with a Grown-Up Ticket.
